Cash Visibility
Clarity begins with seeing what is available.
None of these areas may require immediate attention.
The purpose is simply to notice, reflect, and begin seeing the business more clearly.
A Clearer View of Cash
Cash visibility is about knowing, at any given moment, what is truly available to run the business. It is different from profit. A business can show a profit on paper and still feel pressure if cash is not flowing at the right time. Visibility brings a sense of control—it removes the need to constantly check, worry, or second-guess.
When cash is visible, decisions around spending, timing, and commitments become more measured. There is less urgency and more stability. It becomes possible to plan ahead, even if only by a few weeks, with a clearer understanding of what can and cannot be done.
It may be worth reflecting:
1. Is there a clear picture of available cash without needing to piece information together?
2. Are upcoming inflows and outflows reasonably predictable?
3. Does cash feel controlled, or does it feel uncertain at times?
4. A simple habit of regularly reviewing cash position—even in a basic format—can begin to bring that visibility into place.
If a conversation would be helpful at some point, it can begin simply—
with a name, a number, and a suitable time.
